Founded in 2011, CAFMA Firefighter Charities is a nonprofit focused on safety education. CAFMA Firefighter Charities also provides many of the resources necessary for several other charities in the quad city area (including the Firefighter Angel Foundation) to carry out their overall mission.
Since 1954, IAFF members have shown an unwavering commitment to defeating muscular dystrophy and related life-threatening diseases. Funds are raised primarily through MDA signature Fill the Boot campaign, in which member fire fighters gather on streets across the country collecting money in their boots from neighbors and passersby. For 60 years strong, our nations heroes have raised more than $558 million to save and improve lives of families fighting muscle disease. Dollars collected in boots throughout the decades are translating into game-changing research progress today.
Prescott Firefighter’s Charities (PFFC) is the volunteer non-profit arm of the Prescott Fire Department. PFFC raises funds in efforts to support and assist people in need within our community of Prescott, AZ. Kids, families, even firefighter’s families who have lost loved ones . We aim to have a positive impact in communities, and to help those in need. All funds come from people just like you. All proceeds are given back to those who need it. 100% of all proceeds from donations, merchandise sales, and fundraisers go back out to the community.
Firefighter Angel Foundation
The Firefighter Angel Foundation is composed of firefighters and law enforcement officers, along with their family members and friends, whose purpose is to positively impact families in crisis and/or need. Our annual volunteers, partners and donors make it possible for us to continue to assist families and deliver a joyful, memorable experiences year after year!
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters’ signature fundraiser. Every year, half a million people across America come together to have fun and raise money to support Big Brothers Big Sisters. Bowl for Kids’ Sake is the fun and easy way for individuals and companies to make an impact on the local community—it only takes a little bit of effort to raise the money that is vital to our program’s success. Fundraising teams collect donations and then celebrate their success by attending a local bowling party.
