The Fire Ops 101 Program exposes participants to the rigors of the fire service, giving them an opportunity to experience the challenges that professional fire fighters face every day serving their communities in the quad city area. In addition, participants gain a better understanding of adequate and safe staffing, as well as the need to have up-to-date protective equipment and apparatus. Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority has partnered with the Prescott Fire Department to host this hands-on program annually in April.
